We would like to share some of our favorite foods that go over so well at Block Parties.
You want to have fun and impress your guest, but you also have to budget because there is potential for a lot of visitors. Think quantity and cost. Some great ideas we use are:
Chili
Hot Dogs
Hamburgers
Beans
Sloppy Joe's
Salads (coleslaw, potato, macaroni)
Peanut Butter and Jelly bite size sandwiches
You want stuff that will last a long time. A crock pot of chili or sloppy joe's will simmer all day and you just need some cheap chop meat and a packed of flavor spices.
